Item 4.01 Changes in Registrant's Certifying Accountants The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Aviat Networks, Inc. (the "Company") undertook a competitive selection process to determine the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the current fiscal year ending June 26, 2026. On September 18, 2025, the Audit Committee of Board of Directors of the Company (the "Committee") approved the engagement of Grant Thornton LLP ("Grant Thornton") as its independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending June 26, 2026, subject to approval of shareholders at the Company's annual shareholder meeting. At the same time, the Committee approved the dismissal of Deloitte & Touche LLP ("Deloitte") as independent registered public accounting firm of the Company effective September 18, 2025. This change was not a result of any disagreement between the Company and Deloitte. The reports of Deloitte on the Company's financial statements for the past two fiscal years ended June 28, 2024, and June 27, 2025, did not contain an adverse opinion or a disclaimer of opinion and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope, or accounting principles. In connection with the audits of the Company's financial statements for each of the two fiscal years ended June 28, 2024 and June 27, 2025, and in the subsequent interim period through September 18, 2025, there were (i) no disagreements (as described in Item 304(a)(1)(iv) of Regulation S-K and the related instructions) with Deloitte on any matters of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope and procedures which, if not resolved to the satisfaction of Deloitte would have caused Deloitte to make reference to the matter in their report, and (ii) no "reportable events" within the meaning of Item 304(a)(1)(v) of Regulation S-K.
