Item 8.01 Other Events. On March 13, 2024, the Board of Directors of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. (the "Company") declared a regular cash dividend of $0.20 per share to be paid on April 11, 2024, to all holders of record of issued and outstanding shares of the Company's common stock as of the close of business on March 28, 2024. On March 13, 2024, the Company issued a press release announcing the initiation of a new quarterly dividend program. A copy of the press release has been filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
