01 Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events. As previously disclosed on a Current Report on Form 8-K filed on April 19, 2024, Biovie Inc. (the "Company") received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Staff (the "Staff") of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") indicating that the bid price for the Company's Class A common stock for the last 30 consecutive business days had closed below the minimum $1.00 per share required for continued listing under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) (the "Bid Price Rule"). On August 20, 2024, the Company received a letter from the Staff informing the Company that it had regained compliance with the Bid Price Rule, as the bid price of the Company's Class A common stock closed at or above $1.00 per share for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days from August 6, 2024 through August 19, 2024. The Company will diligently work to continue to adhere to Nasdaq's listing standards. 2
