Item 4.01 Changes in Registrant's Certifying Accountant. On May 16, 2024, Chilean Cobalt Corp. (the "Company") engaged Fruci & Associates II, PLLC ("Fruci") to serve as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm. The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company authorized the engagement of Fruci on May 15, 2024. During the Company's two most recent fiscal years (ended December 31, 2023 and December 31, 2022) and the subsequent interim period (January 1, 2024 to May 16, 2024) prior to the engagement of Fruci, neither the Company, nor anyone on the Company's behalf consulted Fruci with respect to any of the matters or reportable events set forth in Item 304(a)(2)(i) and (ii) of Regulation S-K.
