Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure. On January 14, 2025, California Water Service Company, the Registrant's California regulated utility subsidiary ("Cal Water"), received a letter from the California Public Utilities Commission (the "CPUC") addressed jointly to Cal Water and three other Class A water companies (California-American Water Company, Golden request for an additional one-year extension in their cost of capital filing with the CPUC to May 1, 2026. The Water Cost of Capital Mechanisms will remain in effect during the one-year extension. The information furnished pursuant to Item 7.01 of this Current Report shall not be deemed "filed" for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), or incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Exchange Act, except as expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
