("Televisa" or the "Company"; NYSE:TV; BMV:TLEVISA CPO) announced today that the approval from the Federal Telecommunications Institute ( Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones ) has been received with regards to the acquisition by the Company of the participation in Sky Mexico ("Sky") previously held by AT&T, and the closing of the transaction has been carried out, therefore Televisa owns 100% of Skys capital stock as of today. As previously announced, the transaction price will be paid by the Company in 2027 and 2028. About Televisa Grupo Televisa S.A.B. ("Televisa") is a major telecommunications corporation which owns and operates one of the most significant cable companies as well as a leading direct-to-home satellite pay television system in Mexico.
