Item 8.01 Other Events On June 10, 2024, HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company"), the holding company for HomeTrust Bank (the "Bank"), issued the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference announcing that Charles "Chuck" Sivley assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer of both the Company and the Bank effective today. Mr. Sivley is replacing Chief Information Officer Marty T. Caywood, who is leaving the Company and the Bank later this year after 29 years of service.
