01 Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events. On May 17, 2024 , Immersion Corporation and certain of its subsidiaries (collectively, "Immersion") entered into a License Agreement (the "License Agreement") with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. ("Samsung"), renewing its existing relationship. Pursuant to the License Agreement, Samsung will continue to license Immersion's patent portfolio for use in its products. On May 22, 2024, the Company issued a press release announcing the license arrangement between the Company and Samsung. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1, and the information in Exhibit 99.1 is incorporated herein by reference.
