Item 8.01 Other Events. On February 13, 2025, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Karat Packaging Inc. (the "Company") declared a regular, quarterly cash dividend of $0.45 per share (the "Quarterly Dividend") on the Company's common stock, reflecting an increase from the previous quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share, which will be paid on or around February 28, 2025 to the stockholders of record as of February 24, 2025. On February 13, 2025, the Company issued a press release announcing that the Board has declared the Quarterly Dividend. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
