Mine Safety - Reporting of Shutdowns and Patterns of Violation On August 13, 2024, 3M Company received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration under Section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977, at its quarry in Little Rock, Arkansas, in connection with a truck driver for an unaffiliated company who was standing on top of a loaded trailer and not wearing fall protection. Corrective action was taken and no one was injured in the cited incident. The order has been terminated.
