Item 8.01 Other Events. On March 30, 2026, the Board of Directors of The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (the " Company ") appointed Jennifer L. Peterson, who was serving as the Company's Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, as the Company's Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and People Officer and Secretary, effective immediately. In her expanded role, Ms. Peterson will lead the Company's global human resources, legal and risk management functions. A copy of the press release announcing Ms. Peterson's new leadership role is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
