Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure On June 11, 2024, at NextEra Energy, Inc.'s (NEE) 2024 Investor Conference in New York, NY, members of NEE's senior management team plan to discuss, among other things, that NEE is reaffirming its adjusted earnings per share expectations for 2024, 2025 and 2026, and introducing its adjusted earnings per share expectations for 2027. NEE continues to expect adjusted earnings per share for 2024, 2025 and 2026 to be in the range of $3.23 to $3.43, $3.45 to $3.70 and $3.63 to $4.00, respectively, and now expects 2027 adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of $3.85 to $4.32. The adjusted earnings expectations exclude the cumulative effect of adopting new accounting standards, the effects of non-qualifying hedges and unrealized gains and losses on equity securities held in NextEra Energy Resources, LLC's nuclear decommissioning funds and other than temporary impairments, none of which can be determined at this time. Adjusted earnings expectations also exclude the effects of NextEra Energy Partners, LP net investment gains and differential membership interests-related.
