ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS. As part of the previously communicated Fit to Win initiative, O-I Glass, Inc. (the "Company") has approved a severance program that is expected to reduce future selling, general and administrative costs in the Americas segment, as well as reduce retained corporate and other costs not allocable to the Company's reportable segments. The Company expects to record a charge associated with this program of approximately $21 million in the third quarter of 2024, a majority of which relates to cash severance expenditures expected to be paid in the fourth quarter of 2024.
