Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements (Unaudited) Note 1 – Summary of Significant Accounting Policies (In Thousands) Nature of Operations : Renasant Corporation (referred to herein as the "Company") owns and operates Renasant Bank ("Renasant Bank" or the "Bank"), Renasant Insurance, Inc., Park Place Capital Corporation and Continental Republic Capital, LLC (doing business as "Republic Business Credit"). Through its subsidiaries, the Company offers a diversified range of financial, wealth management, fiduciary and insurance services to its retail and commercial customers from offices located throughout the Southeast and offers factoring and asset-based lending on a nationwide basis. See Note 15, "Subsequent Events" for a discussion of the Bank's sale of substantially all of the assets of Renasant Insurance, Inc. effective July 1, 2024. Basis of Presentation : The accompanying unaudited consolidated financial statements of the Company and its subsidiaries have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America ("GAAP") for interim financial information and in accordance with the instructions to Form 10-Q and Article 10 of Regulation S-X. Accordingly, they do not include all of the information and footnotes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. In the opinion of management, all adjustments (consisting of normal recurring accruals) considered necessary for a fair presentation have been included. For further information regarding the Company's significant accounting policies, refer to the audited consolidated financial statements and notes thereto included in the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2023 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") on February 23, 2024.
