Item 1.04. Mine Safety. On May 1, 2024, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the "Company"), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Searcy Quarry in Judsonia, Arkansas. The order was issued to remove an employee observed on top of the body of a drill at a height over seven feet without fall protection. No injuries occurred, and the Company took corrective action with respect to the incident.
