Item 8.01 Other Events On September 19, 2025, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (the "CFPB") notified Washington Federal Bank, dba WaFd Bank (the "Bank"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of WaFd, Inc. (the "Company"), that effective September 18, 2025, the CFPB had terminated the October 9, 2013 and October 27, 2020 Consent Orders both of which related to the Bank's Home Mortgage Disclosure Act program.
