On October 22, 2024, Weatherford International plc ("Weatherford" and together with its subsidiaries, "we" or the "Company") issued a news release announcing results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024. On October 22, 2024, Weatherford announced that its Board of Directors (the "Board") has declared a cash dividend of $0.25 per share on the Company's ordinary shares, par value $0.001 per share, payable on December 5, 2024 to shareholders of record as of November 6, 2024. The declaration of any future dividends is subject to the Board's discretion. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and the portions related to the dividend are incorporated herein by reference.
