Item 8.01. Other Events On July 15, 2024, A. O. Smith Corporation ("the Company") issued a news release announcing the Company's entry into an agreement to acquire Pureit from Unilever. The purchase price will be approximately USD $120 million in cash, subject to customary adjustments. Pureit offers a broad range of residential water purification solutions, primarily in India.
