("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), one of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, today announced that Mr. Yingqiu Liu has resigned as an independent director of the Company, and has ceased to be a member of the audit committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee of the Company, effective August 20, 2024. The departure of Mr. Yingqiu Liu was not due to any disagreement with the Company. Mr. Gang Chu has been appointed as an independent director of the Company and a member of the audit committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee of the Company, effective August 20, 2024. Mr. Gang Chu served as the chief operating officer and a member of the management committee of China International Capital Corporation Limited ("CICC") from March 2015 to February 2024. Between November 2015 and August 2024, he served as director on the boards of various subsidiaries of CICC.
