Item 8.01 Other Events On October 8, 2024, Southern California Edison Company ("SCE") filed an application with the California Public Utilities Commission to seek rate recovery of $5.4 billion of prudently incurred losses related to the Woolsey Fire, consisting of approximately $4.4 billion of uninsured claims paid as of August 31, 2024 and $1.0 billion of associated costs, comprised of legal and financing costs incurred as of August 31, 2024 and estimated ongoing financing costs. SCE is also seeking recovery of approximately $84 million in restoration costs in the proceeding. In its filing, SCE requested that the CPUC issue a proposed decision on its application in February 2026.
