Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officer. In connection with the transition by James E. Evans, a current member of the American Financial Group, Inc. (the "Company") Board of Directors, from his role as an officer and employee of the Company to that of executive consultant, in 2014, the Company and Mr. Evans entered into a consulting agreement which, as amended, terminates on December 31, 2024.
