Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. On January 17, 2024, Bruce M. Larson, Chief Human Resources Officer, informed The Carlyle Group Inc. (the "Company") that he will retire from the Company in the second half of 2024. Mr. Larson will cease serving as Chief Human Resources Officer and will no longer be deemed an executive officer of the Company effective January 19, 2024. Mr. Larson will remain an employee of the Company as a Senior Advisor and will assist with the transition of his responsibilities until his retirement.
