ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS On December 13, 2024, Chemung Canal Trust Company ("the Bank"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chemung Financial Corporation ("the Corporation"), consolidated its Clarence, New York branch located at 9159 Main Street, Clarence, New York into its nearby Williamsville, New York branch located at 5529 Main Street, Williamsville, New York, which opened on October 11, 2024. The Bank has received the required approvals from the New York State Department of Financial Services ("NYSDFS") and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York ("FRBNY"). The Bank's Clarence location will remain open as an administrative office.
