01 Regulation FD Disclosure
Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure. Kosmos Energy Ltd. completed the drilling of the S-6 "Akeng Deep" exploration well in Block S offshore Equatorial Guinea. The well was drilled to a total vertical depth of approximately 13,225 feet (~4030 meters) and only encountered sub-commercial quantities of hydrocarbons. The well will now be plugged and abandoned. Partners in the Akeng Deep well are Kosmos Energy, Trident Energy, Panoro Energy and GEPetrol. The Akeng Deep well marks the end of the 2024 drilling campaign in Equatorial Guinea, where the partnership successfully drilled two infill wells on the Ceiba and Okume fields in Block G. The Ceiba infill well was brought online mid-October and is performing ahead of expectations. First oil from the Okume infill well was achieved mid-November with production ramp-up ongoing. 2
