FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 1. DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS The Company is a Delaware corporation, incorporated on July 17, 1987 and has been engaged in the intellectual property monetization business since 2008. As used herein, "we", "us", "our", the "Company" refer to Quest Patent Research Corporation and its wholly and majority-owned operating subsidiaries unless the context indicates otherwise. All intellectual property acquisition, development, licensing and enforcement activities are conducted by the Company's wholly and majority-owned operating subsidiaries. The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the U.S. (GAAP) for interim financial information and with the instructions to Form 10-Q and Rule 8-03 of Regulation S-X. Accordingly, these interim financial statements do not include all of the information and notes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. All adjustments (consisting of normal recurring items) necessary to present fairly the Company's consolidated financial position have been included. These interim financial no.1 to the Company's annual report on Form 10-K/A for the year ended December 31, 2023.
